deadliest catch.

my recent televisonic obsession has been on the discovery channel, watching 'deadliest catch.' because season 4 just started last week, the good people at discovery supplied me with my fix of reruns from previous seasons for the two weeks prior. i am not complaining, as deadliest catch is by far my favorite reality show on all of television. although it's not the typical 'reality show,' it's real. let's call it real reality. and it's great. tuesday nights at 10pm on the discovery channel.

aol music sessions.

if you agree with me about the fact that no music is better than live music, then you will understand my love for sessions @ aol. it's the best 'live' music you can get outside of a venue. crisp, clear and full of the emotion that live music brings. aol music sessions is the ideal venue where there are no cheap seats.

i'll have to seperate this as my favorite blog (other than my own, of course) from my favorite website. stuffwhitepeoplelike is an ingenious collection of just that... stuff that white people really, really like. stereotypical perhaps, but most often the truth is just that. one of a select group of blogs that i read on a regular basis and my vote for blog of the year.

plugra.

my obsession with butter can easily be blamed on the beauty of plugra. plugra is everything that butter should be. rich & creamy with all the 'flavor' that butter is known for, to the um-teenth degree. it's the divine creamy blend of 80% butterfat (fat means flavor) and 20% milk solids... i DO believe it's the BEST butter.

one of the most creative websites on the internet, besides www.isweatbutter.com of course; www.fuh2.com is a tribute to the anti-green, gas guzzler that is the hummer h2. now that you know what the 'h2' part of the website stands for, i'm sure you can figure out the 'f-u' part on your own. this was my contribution to their glorious site; the clown that drives this beast even has her stupid face plastered on the side of it.

excedrin migraine.

by far the best, and for me, the only thing that works. i chew them like candy.

clear advance chapstick.

i often said that i appreciate a tube of chapstick more than the average joe, but it really is the truth. and blistex clear advance is the bomb as far as chapstick goes. not greasy, no nasty flavor and excellent staying power. perfection in a twist-up tube.

grand marnier.

cramp up next to my barstool at one of my favorite watering holes, and i typically have one of two things in front of me; a heineken and a grand marnier. you can tell my mood by whether my 'grand ma' is straight up or on the rocks. straight up, and i'm just chillin.' on the rocks, then watch out, i'm probably stressed out or drinking my cares away. (you'll usually find me drinking it this way after a long day at work.) either way, grand ma gives you that toasty buzz feeling that very few things in life can beat. and on those extra special occasions, there's always the 'cuvee du centenaire,' the 100-year old grand ma that's hotter than ever. definately my favorite booze.

green mountain coffee roasters.

without a doubt the most delicious coffee in the world. my favorite coffee by far. if i were oprah i'd give everyone a year's supply. but i'm not, so get your own HERE. my top picks: 1) lake & lodge, 2) fair trade wild mountain blueberry and 3) fair trade island coconut.
